I have been to Tomoya twice now and enjoyed both. I always get the Burnaby roll and hamachi. I would like to try more of their fusion rolls.


The place is owned by a Japanese man and the chef is Japanese. The staff is Chinese.

On Sundays, the place is always packed. There is happy hour after 8:30 pm. I really want to go during happy hour to try several menu items.

Mind you, if you go on a Sunday it is a bit of a gong show. I have only gotten take-away and it is hectic and you are easily forgotten. There is a 10% discount if you phone in and pick-up your order.
